Don't put your Cart before your Horse ! Always begin your search for a new property with a qualified loan officer. If you currently have a relationship with your bank then it is a good idea to start there. Also, you can consult area lenders such as Third Federal, Huntington Bank, Charter One, etc.. Upon your review of the loan programs available, please have your loan officer contact me so we can begin the process to find a property that meets your needs. The loan officer should be able to provide you with a pre-qualification or pre-approval for a mortgage. You should bring this document with you when we first meet or have your lender send it directly to me. You do not have to reveal to any seller the full amount that you have been approved to purchase. When we locate the property you desire then the pre-approval can be made into a customized letter to accompany the offer to purchase - making your offer as strong as possible for a seller's acceptance.

REMEMBER: The loan programs available are subject to change. If you have an outdated pre-approval, the loan program you selected may no longer be available. Consult with your lender and have the lender call me to discuss the terms necessary to purchase your home.
